Code of Conduct (CoC): The following rules will be followed by all
Red Cell members at all times:
- You will back your guild mates and allies 100% at all times. You will never leave a guild mate or ally to die alone. Death in the service of your friends is an honor.
- You will always treat your guild mates and allies with respect both in-game and out and can expect the same in return. Personal attacks will not be tolerated. You may attack an idea, and have a debate, but attacking a person is unacceptable. Punishment for violating this will be decided by Leadership based on the severity of the incident, but be aware that even the smallest incident can result in removal from the guild.
- You are expected to show restraint and excessive swearing is not tolerated.
- Racial/Ethnic/Sexist/Religious Slander will not be tolerated. There is no excuse for it and we do not associate with those who think otherwise. Use of such a remark means that you are instantly booted.
- You will always fight to win, show no quarter and engage the enemy at all times and in all places. You will never peace an enemy for any reason unless approved by a Leader.
- You will never cheat, scam, steal, exploit game mechanics or use third-party software to gain a direct advantage in combat. Quaestors are responsible for deciding what is acceptable in the individual games. (ie: macroing) These decisions will never allow guild members to dupe, steal accounts, log to avoid death, hack accounts, etc or otherwise break the CoC.
- You will never deliberately kill a guild mate out of anger or retribution. It is only acceptable to kill a guild mate if both parties agree to a duel ahead of time or if it's within the spirit of the game. (i.e. first person shooters)
- You are expected to login to the forums regularly to maintain communication with the guild. If you plan to have an extended absence you should notify a Quaestor or Praetor.
- You are expected to take full advantage of the guild voice communication server. If you are unable to use the voice application due to lag or technical difficulties please explain your situation to a Quaestor or Praetor.
- You will not engage the enemy through public forums with boardwarrioring and trash talk. You are expected to fight in-game rather than through text. If a response to an enemy post is needed, a Leader will handle the posting. You are permitted to post on public forums for other purposes such as for game information, trades, or peaceful and mature community posts. Any post made on public forums by a Red Cell member represents the guild as a whole, and because of this your membership can and will be judged based on your posts, and any post made on a public forum can be grounds for removal if it poorly represents the guild, therefore you are highly discouraged from any posting.
- Under no circumstances should you be spamming or begging in-game or out. It is childish and is not welcome in this guild.
- You will never deliberately use guild resources for personal gain.
- You will never deliberately betray confidential information from the boards, voice communications server or in-game information to anyone outside the guild unless instructed to by a Quaestor or Praetor.
If you suspect a Red Cell member of breaking any of these rules, please screenshot or record the incident and report it to a Quaestor or Praetor immediately. Failure to follow these rules will most likely result in a removal from the guild.
Rule lawyering of this document will not be allowed. If you try to get around any of these rules by attempting to find loopholes or re-phrasings to put the rule in a way other than intended, you are most likely to be booted for that alone. This document does not include every possible reason you may be removed, rather it is here as a set of rules that if broken will almost assuredly result in your removal from the guild. There will always be new situations that come up, and so your membership in the guild is under the sole discretion of Guild Leadership and can be revoked at any time, for any reason.
Note: Quaestors may create and enforce a game specific CoC as long as it does not interfere or conflict with this document in any form.
*Guild Leadership has final say over everything*
