Red Cell General Rules & Guidelines
Mission Statement: Red Cell is an aggressive & territorial PvP based guild and as such, its members are expected to attack our enemies at any time and at any place. We enter new games with the sole purpose of conquest at all costs. We are a brotherhood of like-minded individuals who will back each other at all times. We strive to win at whatever we do and will never accept defeat as an alternative. Fortes Fortuna Adjuvat! (Founded: 11/21/2004)
Guild Leadership: Red Cell leadership is comprised of two official levels; Praetors and Quaestors.
- Guild Praetors are Guild Leaders and as such provide absolute direction in all matters.
- Quaestors are Game Leaders and serve at the pleasure of the Praetors. This does not mean that Praetors will intervene in the day-to-day running of a game. However, if a Quaestor breaks a rule, does not enforce the CoC or moves the game in an unsatisfactory direction, the Praetors may take steps to rectify the situation.
All Praetors and Quaestors have access to a private Leader Board in order to facilitate the future of the guild. They will remain active on the boards and will be available to answer questions and guide all guild members. Quaestors and Praetors are not babysitters and are not responsible for helping with every single request. Quaestors may implement additional levels of authority subject to them if they deem it necessary. (i.e.: a recruitment officer)
Red Cell is not now, nor ever will it ever be a democracy. Praetors or Quaestors may use votes as a tool when they feel it is necessary but this does not imply that all decisions will be made in this fashion.
Guild Politics: Simply put, we do not like politics as they cloud people's judgment, ruin fun and impede game play. Red Cell will enter into official alliances with like-minded guilds and individuals but this is the exception rather than the rule. If you are not an official ally you can expect to be a target.
Official Game Sects: Membership can petition the Praetors to create an officially sanctioned gaming sect. In order to do so they must have:
- At least 10 current Members interested in the game.
- The game must be PvP based.
- Use the Red Cell tag in an approved format. (Note: there is an exception for AC1 as changing the guild tag to Red Cell would require an undue burden.)
In return, the Praetors will:
- Choose a Quaestor/Group of Quaestors from within the membership. This could be based on nominations from the interested members but remember, Leaders aren't made; they're born, developed, and discovered.
- Create the necessary public and private forums to support the game.
- Allow the Quaestor(s) to form the new gaming sect as he or she sees fit providing all rules and guidelines are followed.
- Members may freely join any official game sect by requesting access from that games Quaestors.
